North Avenue Synagogue

A vintage 1950's synagogue centers on a glue-laminated wood sanctuary. The project included design for a new social hall and chapel, a new entry/coat room, and a redesign of the interior of the sanctuary that preserved the wood structure with a new interior design. The use of multiple woods and glass partitions bring light to the lowered centeral section of the sanctuary while remaining true to the aesthetic of the original building.
