Whittle HQ Offices

Whittle Schools & Studios, world-famous creator of an international chain of bespoke private schools, asked us to partner with renowned design architects, Renzo Piano Building Workshop, on their new corporate headquarters. Overlooking Bryant Park in Manhattan, the full floor was designed to maximize openness and to take advantage of its amazing midtown skyline views.

Turner Construction helped us install CRL glass office walls, opening up the space to take advantage of the amazing views. The Silestone countertops compliment the customized “rugs” that create more intimate areas within the overall open space.

Custom birch panels, doors, and millwork give warmth to the office’s raw, exposed finishes, including the fireproofed steel structure above and diamond-ground sealed concrete floors. Acoustic “clouds” rhythmically march down the open space, with a sophisticated sound masking system, creating a controlled, quiet ambiance.
