Reservoir Media
Reservoir Media Management is the first female founded and led publicly traded music company in the US. They represent over 140,000 copyrights and 36,000 master recordings dating as far back as 1900 with hundreds of #1 releases worldwide. Their CEO Ms. Golnar Khosrowshahi was recently honored as one of Billboards top women in music.
We relocated their downtown Manhattan office to a modest 6,000-square-foot loft space with an open floor plan and flexible workstations for their New York business and creative teams. The open workspace allows creative collaboration, while the partial walls and acoustic ceilings provide privacy.

As design lead and tenant architect, we worked closely with the Landlord construction team to design the spaces in this highly customized and unique fashion within the standard tenant improvement budget.
The focus of the design is their conference room, which opens completely with an operable glass wall to the office space and promotes flexibility for both large team meetings and private conferences. This space is flanked by soundproof listening rooms for intimate creative production and music sessions, as well as private breakout offices for huddles and team meetings.
Private phone booths, comfortable communal space and a minimal reception waiting area were also incorporated to provide other individual spaces for this thriving diverse music business.
