Stuytown Playground

Playground upgrades have included incorporating modern equipment into challenging built environments with added regulations of NYC construction codes and the historic infrastructure at the Property. When some of the parks exist on what everyone thinks of as grade but technically is the roof of a garage, drainage and structural loading comes into play. Other parks have  unique challenges with water features and simply volume and children’s activity in a residential setting. Accommodations are made for accessibility as well as for adult comfort being able to sit and supervise from the perimeter. Extensive consultant teams are managed and leveraged by us to navigate and support the complex requirements.

  • Operational and Management work included management offices reworked and revisioned to accommodate the ever-changing needs of the property and its ownership’s holdings and needs. Infrastructure work has included solar and technical efficiency upgrades and review, subterranean power and heat cogeneration facilities and areas for equipment and staff.
