Manhattan Kids Club
Manhattan Kids Club is a private early childhood education facility in lower Manhattan, with two locations; one in the East Village on the Stuyvesant Town campus, and the other in the West Village on Sixth Avenue. The locations were developed in non-traditional spaces with significant architectural and technical challenges. The Stuytown location turned a hurricane ravaged backoffice cellar space into a campus facing, well organized accessible destination. The Sixth Avenue location transformed a residual low headroom second floor community facility space into a cohesive airy and open light-filled environment.

Both locations are over 10,000 square feet each and educate children from three months to six years of age in welcoming, safe and friendly environments. The facilities include sensory areas, dance and group music spaces and the classrooms progress with age appropriate design, including furniture, manipulatives and materials. One of the decorative hallmarks of the locations are the handprints, where children and families delight in marking their physical growth as they move through the educational program.
The traditional family-oriented curriculum incorporates many aspects of structured education and is much more than a full service childcare program. Children are grouped by age, and skilled educators and caregivers help children reach their full potential. Individual learning needs are recognized early, and families are given the support for individual personalities, natural curiosities and growth.
