Queens Bronx Builders Association Award 2018 - Summit Parc Multifamily Apartment Building
Summit Parc, a 15-unit apartment building on West 238th Street in the Riverdale section of the Bronx, was granted a 2018 Building Award at the Queens & Bronx Building Association Dinner.
Working with Cipco Developers, we were proud to have developed a dynamic building design that was cost-effective and suited well to its location. The building is sandwiched between a postwar co-op apartment building and a row of nondescript brick townhouses on a charming one-block-long street with a community garden at its center.
The new building’s exterior steps back to accommodate the street profile, featuring horizontal bands of textured two-tone roman brick alternating with ample glass window walls. Balconies grab easterly views over the Bronx. Our design for the interiors includes exposed concrete structure and an innovative in-wall LED reveal system created custom for the project.
The recently completed 30,000 sq.ft. building has 15 apartments, mostly two- and three-bedrooms. Parking, a multipurpose room with a shared outdoor terrace, and two roof terraces are some featured amenities.
