Starrett Lehigh Building

The Starrett-Lehigh Building is a force of nature, a true landmark in every sense of the word. We began contributing to the future of this icon in 2022 when we acquired Boddewyn Gaynor Associates. Our senior associate, Emilio Wong, whose experience as base building architect at Starrett-Lehigh extends back over two decades, leads our team in working with building ownership, RXR Realty, to modify the building’s public spaces and tenant fitouts, guiding it to its updated form and layout.

  • Our work includes exterior Landmark Preservation for window replacement along with interior projects ranging from 160,000 square foot full floor renovations, white box tenant spaces and build to suit office suites, to corridor and amenity improvements at this historic property.

We have also assisted in smaller projects including alt-1 updates, louvers, bathrooms, office renovations, and TPAs for pop-up events constantly changing and inhabiting the ground floor. We are currently working on a large project for the Verizon store relocation, along with a massive demo for a new whitebox space. a new electric room, generators, occupancy studies, and ongoing TPAs for pop-ups are also ongoing.
