Stuytown Fitness

This 8,000 square foot ground floor commercial space on East 14th Street was converted into a modern gym for exclusive use by the residents. Working closely with management, we developed the sunlit space so that it opens to the street and also connects to the interior residential courtyards through a light-filled new stair and elevator. Approvals by the City were the most challenging aspect, as public gyms require special permits.

  • This gym’s new windows along 14th street open onto a large group fitness room for classes. State-of-the-art equipment, including machines for cardio and weights, was coordinated with Life Fitness, GymRax, and Peloton.

    Stuytown is a 110 building residential complex located in the East Village. We have been working closely with Ownership’s Management team to perform improvements to the buildings, apartment upgrades and amenity development on the 80-acre site. With over 11,250 apartments, StuyTown is the largest rental community in the United States.
