Introducing AndMore: The New Marketplace at Starrett Lehigh

Ongoing Capital Improvements to the Starrett Lehigh Building

We’re excited to share recent photos showcasing the newly completed AndMore space on the 3rd and 4th floors of the Landmarked Starrett Lehigh Building; a full-block, formerly industrial building in Chelsea. AndMore, is the global operator of over 20 million square feet of premier tradeshow and showroom venues. Known for hosting exceptional marketplace experiences, AndMore attracts more than 350,000 visitors annually through its 30+ unique markets, primarily serving the B2B Community.

The featured photos were captured recently during SHOPPE OBJECT, New York City’s premier independent home and gift show. The event, held in the expansive 130,000 sq. ft. multi-floor space, showcased crafts, home goods, and personal care products. With its open, light-filled layout and soaring ceilings, the venue offered over 1,500 exhibitors a stunning platform to display their work. This was the first event of the new marketplace; a fantastic addition to this constantly evolving building. Click here for more images from the event and our other work in the building.

Building Studio led the transformation of this space into a large public assembly venue, implementing upgrades such as enhanced egress, modern finishes, state-of-the-art air conditioning, upgraded lighting, and additional bathrooms to meet the demands of this ambitious project.

RXR Realty, the visionary owners of this extraordinary property, remain one of our valued clients. Our relationship continues with ongoing projects to rejuvenate common areas and facilitate new tenant installations, as part of RXR’s commitment to elevate this monumental building.
